National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar has released the NIT Silchar Faculty Recruitment 2026 notification for 35 Professor vacancies, including 09 fresh and 26 backlog posts. The institute is inviting online applications from eligible Indian nationals with a strong academic background and relevant teaching and research experience for Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor Grade-I, and Assistant Professor Grade-II positions across multiple departments.
